Activities for Children and Young People on Sundays

Creche Ages 2 to 5 Ages 6 to 11 Ages 11 to 14 Ages 15 to 18+

Creche

A creche is provided each Sunday when the children go out to Sunday School, for those children who are under three years of age. At the Church we have a team of people who are willing to play with your child and keep them happy and safe, so that you can relax and concentrate on the service. You and your child are welcome each Sunday at 11.00 a.m.

Sparklers

Sparklers is our Sunday children's group for children ages 3 to 5 . We meet in the lounge of Catharine House just across the way from church. We have lots of fun learning about Jesus and the Bible. The children enjoy lively songs with actions. We also have circle time and often have prayer times together We read Bible stories together which they also enjoy acting out, and they love dressing up. We have colouring sheets based on our story for the week and usually have a craft activity. The children are keen and enthusiastic and so are the adults!

G-Team

Sunday School with a difference! A group for boys and girls aged 6 to 11 years old who want to know more about God. This is done through the medium of games, discussion, craft and drama. The children have a chance to have fun with their friends in an informal atmosphere.G Team activities take place on most Sundays during term time. New members are warmly welcome! Just turn up at the church at 11.00 a.m

Action-Attack

Action Attack is for young people in school years 7 to 9. It is a chance to learn more about God and Jesus in a relaxed and friendly setting, through a mixture of Bible study, discussions, games, group tasks and prayer. Young people are encouraged to ask questions, investigate the Bible for themselves, express their own points of view and become active members of God's church.

Focus

Focus offers young people in school years 10 and above the opportunity to explore Christianity and issues of faith in a caring environment. The young people are encouraged to support one another both practically and through prayer, and to identify and use their gifts. Bible study and the discussion of global issues often result in lively debate, and the members of Focus and Action Attack have planned, prepared and run several of the Sunday morning services.
